When you meet the love of your life, there's nothing you want more than to share the rest of your life with each other.
So when Georgia resident Charlyn Willis's boyfriend popped the question, the ecstatic bride-to-be couldn't wait to share the news with her loved ones. However, when she sent a text with the picture of the ring to her sister, she typed in the wrong number, and messaged someone else instead: Sarah Michelle Gellar.
When Gellar, received her message, she couldn't help but pass along the exciting news to her fans. The former Buffy The Vampire Slayer posted on Facebook and her Instagram story to congratulate Willis.
She wrote: "This is #CharlynWillis. She got engaged yesterday, and meant to text her sister, but in all the excitement, got me instead. Her sister didn't respond, but I did. So please help me say congrats, to Charlyn. (And her fiancé whose name I don't know) #congratulations."
When Willis saw Gellar's kind wishes, she couldn't contain her excitement.
Willis immediately commented on the starlet's post, thanking her for the shout out.
"Omg! Thank you Sarah! His name is Dennis! Thank you so much for this. You've truly made my engagement experience even more of a life changer! Please know when we set a date, I'll be reaching out to invite you, Freddie, and the kids!" she wrote.
Since Gellar wrote her post on Facebook on Dec. 14, more than 12,000 people have liked it and has received more 600 comments, many congratulating Willis on her engagement.
