After months of planning their dream wedding Jessica Brown and her fiance Tyler were all set for their big day!
The Florida couple couldn't wait to walk down the aisle during their March wedding, to happily unite in front of their family and friends.
The night before the wedding, however, the bride's 70 year old grandmother, Margaret Harris had a heart attack and was rushed to hospital.
She wasn't able at attend the wedding, after all.
"So tonight my brother-in-law married the girl of his dreams! Unfortunately last night the bride's sweet granny had a heart attack, so she missed the wedding," Amanda Brown said. "After the amazing day we only felt right to come visit her granny in the hospital so she could see her granddaughter in her wedding dress!"
When Jessica, Tyler and their families arrived at the hospital at 10:30 PM on Saturday night still dressed in their wedding attire, everyone was super excited and emotional.
"When we got there it was pretty priceless," Amanda Brown said. "Her mom and dad went in first and it was a total surprise. So Tyler, my brother-in-law, walked in Jessica and she was just of course in awe and just super excited and crying. It was just really emotional."
The bride couldn't imagine completing her wedding day without seeing her granny.
"I couldn't finish my day without seeing her, she helped raise me to be the person that I am today. I just hope that she knows how much I love her," Jessica wrote in a message to First Coast News.
Can you imagine the look on Grandma's face when they arrived? What an amazing thing to do, to include a very special part of the family.
