Whether you believe in ghosts or not, there have been "sightings" that make you question their existence. More recently, a dashcam video has been making the rounds online and it has people freaking out.

A driver and his passenger in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia were driving on a quiet road at night when they spotted something in the middle of the road. As they got closer, they noticed that it was an eerie-looking figure sitting cross-legged and staring straight ahead at them.

The driver immediately stopped the car and admitted that this is a "bit scary," a sentiment that the passenger also shared.

According to locals, the figure on the road has been spotted by other drivers in the area over the last 10 years.

Unlike the plot of many horror movies, this driver made the right decision to drive away from the strange figure instead of trying to approach it.

Some skeptical locals said that the figure isn't a ghost, but rather a set up by thieves who would jump out and mug motorists and passengers if they slow down their cars.
