We've all been in situations where we got caught red-handed doing something we shouldn't have been doing in the first place. Most of us choose flight while the rest of us fight.

In the case of the Maine Coon who was caught stealing money from his owner's pants, he took off after the initial startle but returned seconds later to attack.

Maybe he was stealing coins for other cats a la Robin Hood or maybe he simply enjoys the thrill of the act - we'll never know.
