When Allison and Josh got the call that the newborn baby they were on their way to adopt was actually two babies, they were shocked, but excited.

When they got the second call that the girl, little Ava, had been born without a brainstem they were crushed. Doctors told them that she didn't have long to live and that the little one wouldn't have much of a personality.

Her adoptive parents fell in love with the twins the moment they held them. Now, the family takes in "every precious last."
