Even with today's higher life expectancy, living for a hundred years is an incredible milestone that many won't achieve.
Every once in awhile we come across an amazing story of a centenarian and their secrets to longevity but rarely do we get a chance to see how they celebrate this major milestone.
Brazilian twins Maria Pignaton Pontin and Paulina Pignaton Pandolfi are turning 100-years-old on May 24th and to mark the very special occasion they decided to do something unexpected and it has been getting a lot of attention from people all over the world.
The identical sisters opted for a fun photoshoot to commemorate their birthday and it is nothing short of beautiful and adorable!
Photographer Camila Lima of Camila Lima Fotografia shared the photos from the shoot on Facebook and it will melt your heart.

"I was aware of their existence and I decided to give them a present with this beautiful photographic essay. They are beautiful and very cute! I've never met anyone so old, especially twins. They deserve it and the rehearsal was beautiful," said Lima.
"The shoot was very chill, they were really excited and happy," Lima told Global News via e-mail.
"They did everything I asked of them and never complained that they were tired."
"I photograph multiple elderly people of various ages, and they were the only ones to not have any type of limitations," the photographer added.
How chic do they look in those matching tulle skirts and floral dresses? But don't let their delicate appearances fool you.
According to Lima, Paulina is a cancer survivor and over the years she has also suffered two heart attacks.
Paulina has 6 children, 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren while Maria has 5 children, 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Regardless of what life throws their way, they have always made it through together.
"When one has something going on, the other gets really anxious about it. When both are well, they can't agree on anything, but they don't let go of each other."
I hope I can be as happy and strong when I turn 100 years old!
