Woman Transforms 1950s Trailer Into Spectacular Tiny Home

Back in the 50s and 60s, many people were content with living the American Dream in a fully furnished mobile home, equipped with everything needed to make it as homely as possible.

However, as the years went by, more and more families wanted to splurge on bigger and fancier homes, and trailer homes were mainly used for camping trips or rented out to those who couldn't afford larger properties.

However, the last few years have seen a rise in the "tiny home" trend and this includes refurbished buses, trailers and camper vans.

Aubrey Avila, is among this generation's many fans of mobile tiny homes, and she's recently shared photos of her vintage 1955 Spartan Royal Mansion trailer.

The outside may look just like any other trailer from that era, but the inside is nothing short of spectacular.

The 272-square-foot RV, nicknamed "Sparty," is filled with modern amenities that you'll find in every home, including a fully furnished living room, kitchen, renovated bathroom and air conditioning.

Avila wanted to make sure the space's vintage charm remained so she used some retro decor all over.

The trailer is currently owned by a pilot and is currently located at a private landing strip in Kentucky. Lucky for us, the listing is still up on Backyard Bunkies so we can get the full tour of the charming home through photos.

Let's take a peek at the rest of the interior!
