If you thought Meghan Markle's father was done discussing her in public, think again, because Thomas Markle has asserted he won't be silenced anytime soon.
Just in time for the Duchess of Sussex's upcoming 37th birthday, the Markle patriarch gave an explosive nine-hour interview with Daily Mail, where he claims to be nursing a broken heart.
"I'm really hurt that she's cut me off completely."
Thomas blames the rift between him and his "beloved Bean" - his childhood nickname for his daughter - after it was revealed he had staged paparazzi photos before the wedding, and then chose to publicly defend himself.
"I'm really hurt that she's cut me off completely. I used to have a phone number and text number for her personal aides at the Palace, but after I said a few critical words about the Royal Family changing Meghan, they cut me off," Thomas explained.
"It's her birthday on August 4 and I want to send her a card. But if I send a birthday card to Kensington Palace, or wherever she's living now, it'll just be one among thousands. She'll probably never see it," he continued.
During the tell-all interview, the 74-year-old voiced his fears of never meeting his future grandchildren, and that his youngest daughter would be better off if he died, adding that "Everyone would be filled with sympathy for her."
"What's sad is that some time in the next year Meghan and Harry will have a baby and I'll be a grandfather, and if we're not speaking I won't see my grandchild," Thomas explained.
"How tragic is that, to deprive a child of its grandfather because I said a few things critical of the Royal Family?" he added.
"She'd be nothing without me."
But despite the backlash Thomas has already received, he's become just as candid as his daughter Samantha when it comes to discussing the former Suits star's flaws.
"I tell you, I've just about reached my limit with Meghan and the Royal Family. They want me to be silent, they want me to just go away. But I won't be silenced," he said.
"I refuse to stay quiet. What riles me is Meghan's sense of superiority. She'd be nothing without me. I made her the Duchess she is today. Everything that Meghan is, I made her," the father-of-three continued.
"And did I get any recognition for it? Any thanks? She doesn't even speak to me now. How cold is that?" he said.
And along with becoming ignored to his daughter, the retired television lighting director also asserted that Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, gets the credit they're both entitled to.
"Oh, she's a mummy's girl now and Doria gets a lot of the credit. But Meghan seems to have forgotten that she lived with me up until Doria and I divorced, when she was six, and even then I was still a big part of her life."
However, Meghan wasn't the only royal Thomas decided to speak out against, and they were nothing short of insulting.
"Princess Diana is credited with changing the Royal Family, but she wasn't perfect."
According to Thomas, if Princess Diana was still alive, she wouldn't stand for the way the Palace has ostracized him.
"They have Meghan treating her father in a way that Harry's mother, Princess Diana, would have loathed. That's not what Diana stood for," he asserted.
However, Thomas also alleges that the Princess of Wales didn't have as much as an impact on the royal family the way his daughter will.
"Princess Diana is credited with changing the Royal Family, but she wasn't perfect. She was still very much one of them. I think Meghan's the one who'll bring them into the 21st Century, if they'll let her," Thomas said.
While these comments might not sit well with his daughter's husband, he stressed that he doesn't "care if Harry never speaks to me again, I'll survive."
But he has a different message to Meghan, and said despite their distance, he'll always be there for his baby girl.
"Meghan is everything to me. I love her and I always will," he concluded.
