This Secret Netflix Feature Will Change Your Life

Netflix is one of the best things that happened to our generation. Seriously, think about how you'll never have to leave the house or pay those pesky late fees to rent or return a DVD. That's so '90s.

What makes Netflix a hit among so many people is it's wide selection of options including new releases, classics and exclusive original content. But, even with such an extensive catalogue there's been plenty of times when a favourite appears to be missing from streaming service's selection.

The solution? There's a secret page that lets users submit requests for TV shows and movies they'd like to see added.

Who knew?!

The "Request TV shows or movies" page features a form which you can use to suggest up to three titles! You don't have to sign in or enter any personal information when submitting content requests.

Netflix cannot guarantee that your suggested titles will make it into the catalogue but they will definitely give it some consideration. In fact, some popular movie and shows made it onto the service because they were in high demand.

The streaming service is discouraging people from submitting a request for the same title more than once because they already "keep track of all requests from our members."

It states on the page that, "If you've already submitted a request for a title, you can sit back and relax - we've received your feedback and there's nothing more for you to do."

You should also note that some content will most likely not available because of licensing issues. For example, Game of Thrones is an HBO Original Series which means Netflix is unable to purchase the streaming rights. Sorry GOT fans.

So now that you know about this big secret, let's try and get The Simpsons on Netflix! There's power in numbers after all.
