Peanut butter, mint, caramel, and vanilla are all flavors that go nicely with chocolate. More recently, companies have begun to experiment with hot chili peppers and many other odd ingredients.

If you're a fan of avocados, you're in for a real treat, because one company have teamed up with the California Avocado Commission to create a chocolate bar made with avocados!

Food bloggers have already tried making avocado chocolate pudding with great results. After all, avocados have a smooth, velvety texture that blends nicely with creamy chocolate. Not only that, but their flavor isn't overpowering, which means you barely taste the avocado.

Trendy Compartes chocolatier, based in LA, has already produced chocolate bars with unique flavors, so this isn't much of a departure from the norm.

Each of their avocado bars are made with white chocolate and locally sourced organic avocados. Other than the light green color, you may not notice the flavor.
