The goal was to give both Maneki and the cubs a different relationship than they had have before.

The BBC documentary "Tigers About the House" captured the meeting and it's nothing short of adorable.

The cubs and Maneki immediately start 'chuffing', which is not only how tigers say hello, but also how mothers comfort their cubs. The chuffing is a good sign that both Spot and Stripe will be accepted by the other tigers at the zoo.

Check out the adorable meeting between Maneki and her new adoptive tiger cubs!

<amp-youtube height="9" width="16" layout="responsive" data-videoid="_UbDeqPdUek"></amp-youtube>
