The Golden Globes were a big night for the hit television show, This Is Us. After being nominated for best TV drama series alongside The Crown, Game of Thrones, Stranger Things and losing out to The Handmaid's Tale, only half way through the second season the show has clearly captured the heart of audiences.
With a cast that still continues to surprise us, we can't help but love everything about the show.
Sterling K. Brown made history when he took home the award for Best Actor in a TV drama series. He was the first African-American male actor to ever win in this category.

"Congratulations Sterling, excited!" his costar Milo Ventimiglia shared in his Instagram story. "And everyone else, great night!"
For one lead character, the Golden Globes had him making a splash when the cameras stopped rolling.
Milo, who plays Jack on This Is Us, took to Instagram after the awards show to share how he was having a swimmingly good time during the after-party.
The former Gilmore Girls actor stopped by HBO's festivities inside the Beverly Hilton and a slip and fall landed him soaked with water.
During the star-studded party, whispers rattled throughout the room that someone had accidentally slipped and fallen into the pool. So who was it?
Milo made a confession on Instagram later that night.
"Good time at the Globes tonight," the actor shared on Instagram Stories while holding a script. "Back home studying for tomorrow...and yes, I fell in the pool."

Showing off his script, he shared that he was getting ready for filming the hit show the next day.
NPR's Eric Deggans tweeted the site of where the actor slipped and fell into the uncovered portion of the pool.
"At HBO's Golden Globes party. Believe I just saw Milo Ventimiglia from This Is Us slip and fall into the pool, which is mostly covered but open in one spot..." Deggans tweeted.
