The newest follower of the Franciscan monastery of Cochabamba in Bolivia is perhaps the cutest little thing you have ever seen.
Meet Friar Bigotón, whose name translates to "Friar Mustache. The Miniature Schnauzer was a stray but the monastery took him in and he couldn't be happier.
"His life is all about playing and running," Friar Jorge Fernandez told The Dodo. "Here, all of the brothers love him very much. He is a creature of God."
Friar Bigotón wears a little Franciscan habit so he fits in and he is the most precious thing you will see all day.
He is responsible for "preaching to the fish" and also to help other puppies find homes in monasteries.
The local animal rescue group Proyecto Narices Frias (Cold Nose Project) is using his happy story as an inspiration to other monasteries to take in other pets in need.
The rescue posted the story on their Facebook hoping others would see. "If only all the churches of our country adopt a dog and care for him like Friar Bigotón. We are sure that the parishioners would follow his example."
Friar Bigotón is living a life with a purpose now and he is loving every second of it!
