Back in 2013, Ronnie Brower from Syracuse, New York got a wake-up call. Ronnie was tipping the scales at just under 700 pounds, addicted to pills, alcohol, and living in his parents home. Ronnie's doctor warned him if he didn't make a change, he would die before he turned 30. Ronnie was 28.
As scary as this news was, it was just the motivation Ronnie needed to turn his life around. From that point on he says it was his "job 24 hours a day to get healthy and save my life."
He started a low-carb diet and began exercising daily, starting in his home and eventually moving to a local gym. That's where he caught the eye of Andrea Masella.
Like Ronnie, Andrea was desperate to turn her life around. She was eating to control her emotions, and had reached 250 pounds.
"Both of us used food as a coping mechanism," she said, but she recognized how hard Ronnie was working and used it as motivation for her own fitness journey.
"I was just really inspired by him and I thought he was super cute," she told AP.
It was love at first sight for both of them, and after a first date playing ping-pong and basketball at the gym they really hit it off.
Now, 578 pounds later, this inspiring couple are preparing to tie the knot - and look completely unrecognizable.

Ronnie's friend Nick Murphy calls Andrea and Ronnie's relationship "a match made in heaven, a storybook movie," and he should know - he's Ronnie's trainer, and the best man at their wedding.
The couple will say their "I dos" in the same Church where Nick baptized Ronnie 3 years ago when they started his fitness journey.
But we hope Ronnie bought a new suit for the occasion, because it's safe to say his old one won't fit after this incredible transformation!
Since they started hitting the gym, Andrea has lost 120 pounds and Ronnie has dropped a staggering 458 pounds.
They've both worked very hard, but experts agreed losing weight is much easier with a buddy, so when two people this committed work together it's not surprising their results were phenomenal.
Ronnie's advice to anyone in the same position as he was a few years ago is simple: "If you want it bad enough and put your mind to it, anybody can do it."
Hopefully these two cut loose and enjoy the buffet during their honeymoon in Mexico. They earned it!
