Justin Trudeau wasn't always admired as one of the world's most attractive leaders. There was a time when he was the son of Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau and faced the same issues as other kids at school.
On Jimmy Kimmel, former Friends star Matthew Perry admits to beating up Justin Trudeau in the school yard when they attended Rockcliffe Public School in Ottawa .
Born in the United States, Perry moved to Ottawa with his Canadian mother after his parents split when he was a baby. She went on to work for the Liberal Party of Canada and eventually became a press aide to the then-Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau.
Perry was a few grades ahead of him and recalls him and a friend, Chris Murray, beating him up when they were in the fifth grade.
"I think he was excelling at a sport that we weren't, so it was pure jealousy. And, you know, we beat him up," Perry recalled. "His dad was prime minister, but I don't think that's the reason we beat him up. I think he was the only kid in school we could beat up ... I'm not bragging about this. This is terrible. I was a stupid kid."
Does it surprise you to know that he dealt with bullying at school when he was a boy?
