Life in Genoa City, Wisconsin, the fictional town in which the soap opera The Young and the Restless is set in, is by no means easy. There's drama, heartbreak, inexplicable death and miscarriages.
Melissa Ordway's character Abby Newman has suffered all of the above but thankfully that's far from reality. They may both be young but unlike the character she portrays on screen, the 34-year-old actress and model's personal life is far from restless.
Ordway married actor and former Days of Our Lives star Justin Gaston in 2012. The lovebirds made the decision to start a family a few years after they tied the knot in a ceremony in Atlanta.
In May 2016, the happy couple announced the arrival of their daughter Olivia Christine Gaston.
Ordway later shared an update via social media that Olivia was officially made a Gaston after a judge finalized the adoption process and named them legal parents of the infant.
Olivia is now 14 months old and the Gastons are about to grow their family once again. Ordway and her husband just announced that they are expecting a second child in an exclusive with People.

Ordway's rep confirmed the pregnancy to People and the expecting mom later released a statement addressing the news and the family's excitement.
"Justin and I are thrilled about the arrival of Baby Gaston number two," Ordway, 34, told People. "Our daughter Olivia is the joy and light of our lives and we cannot wait to see her become a big sister."
"We feel so blessed!" she added.
The actress later shared the news on her Instagram page and along with a picture of the family.
The baby is due to make its debut in January 2018, but it is too early to figure out if it is a boy or girl.
There is no word on whether or not, Ordway's pregnancy will be written into the show so we'll have to wait and see how it all pans out.
