<div><p>There is no greater loss in this world, than the loss of a child. For Cindy and Jim Bob Haggerton, the road to healing was a long one, but as many people say there is always a rainbow after the storm.</p><p>A year after suffering the loss of their son Evans shortly after he was born, they received an unexpected call. A soon-to-be born baby boy was in need of a family to adopt him, and they were asked if they would be interested. </p><p>A day after the call, the mother went into labor and in July 2015, baby Tate joined their family. </p><p>The family asked Natasha Hance to photograph Tate's birth. For Natasha this was like coming full-circle because she was there during Cindy's pregnancy with Evans at the same hospital and many of the same nursing staff were there. </p><p>"Tate was the beginning of the family's healing and hope, the beginning of their rainbow," <a href="http://www.scarymommy.com/the-story-behind-photo-of-two-rainbow-babies-will-tug-on-every-single-heartstring/">Hance told Scary Mommy in an email.</a></p><div><figure><amp-img src="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/05/newborn-134wmwebbw.jpg" srcset="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/05/newborn-134wmwebbw_GH_content_550px.jpg 550w" sizes="89vw" title="" alt="" height="9" width="16" layout="responsive"></amp-img></figure></div><p>Shortly before the family adopted Tate, Cindy had also learned that she was newly pregnant with another baby. </p><p>Throughout Cindy's pregnancy the family was told they were expecting a girl. To their surprise in February 2016, Cindy gave birth to a boy named Whitten. </p><div><amp-facebook data-href="https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=638633272952322&set=a.142841672531487.33899.100004169651742&type=3&theater" layout="responsive" height="600" width="640"></amp-facebook></div><p><!-- [invalid-shortcode] --></p><p>Cindy and Jim Bob's family was finally complete, with their 2 rainbow babies in a year. They are also parents to a 8-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter. </p><div><figure><amp-img src="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/05/newborn-8bwmweb.jpg" srcset="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/05/newborn-8bwmweb_GH_content_550px.jpg 550w" sizes="89vw" title="" alt="" height="9" width="16" layout="responsive"></amp-img></figure></div><p>"We created an image that would represent all 3 brothers... a brother lost, a brother adopted and a brother born."</p><p>The babies were placed in a fluff of clouds with a butterfly above to represent Evans. </p><p>Any parent who has experienced a miscarriage or stillbirth knows the emotions involved with the birth of a rainbow baby, and this photo is just a perfect representation. </p><p><strong>Did this touch you?
