Sushi is absolutely delicious, but can be daunting for some people to make homemade. Complicated sushi is no more with the Sushi Gun!
We've got 4 new ways for you to try sushi with the easy-to-use Sushi Gun! Cook up some sushi rice, and load up the toppings! Press it out of the Sushi Gun and you've got perfectly "rolled" sushi! Throw an all-you-can-eat sushi party with your friends and give these flavor combos a try!
Ingredients:
- 4 sheets of nori
- 6 cups cooked sushi rice
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
For the California Roll
- 1 ounce imitation crab
- 1/4 avocado, sliced
- 1/4 cucumber, seeded and cut into strips
For the Hawaiian Roll
- 1 ounce Spam, cut into strips
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
For the Sushi Burrito
- 1/4 pound chicken breast, shredded
- 1/8 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/8 teaspoon cajun seasoning
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 avocado, sliced
- 1/4 cup carrot, sliced into matchsticks
- 1/4 red pepper, sliced into matchsticks
For the Avocado & Mango Roll
- 1/4 avocado, sliced
- 1/4 mango, sliced into matchsticks
Directions:
Cook your sushi rice according to package directions, then allow to cool completely before making sushi roll(s) of choice.
For the California Roll:
- Load cooled sushi rice into the Sushi Gun, then add imitation crab, cucumber, and avocado.
- Seal up the Sushi Gun, push out the rolled sushi, then roll in sesame seeds, slice and serve!
For the Hawaiian Roll:
- Load cooled sushi rice into the Sushi Gun. In a bowl, mix Spam with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar, then add on top of rice in Sushi Gun, and seal it up.
- Push out rolled sushi onto a sheet of nori, then roll everything up together, slice and serve!
For the Sushi Burrito:
- Load cooled sushi rice into the Sushi Gun, then add shredded chicken breast, carrots, and red peppers.
- Push out rolled sushi onto a sheet of nori, then roll everything up together, slice nori in half and serve!
For the Avocado & Mango Roll:
- Load cooled sushi rice into the Sushi Gun, then add mango and avocado.
- Push out rolled sushi onto a sheet of nori, then roll everything up together, slice and serve!
