Oh, coffee. How would we get through Monday mornings and Friday afternoons without it? If you drink upwards of 3 cups a day and it's still not enough, you might want to try a bigger dosage of caffeine. This coffee is not for the faint of heart, literally.
Black Insomnia Coffee is the strongest coffee in the world, beating the previous record held by Death Wish Coffee. With four times the amount of caffeine in an average cuppa, Black Insomnia is for true coffee lovers only. According to Insider, the coffee has 702 milligrams of caffeine for every 12-ounce serving...that's twice the maximum amount of caffeine you should safely consume every day. Yikes!
But if you need an extra kick in the morning, Black Insomnia promises to deliver. On their website, they claim to be "6,3% stronger than the previous strongest coffee. You could say we gave them what they wished for." They go on to say that they're "done with washed out hippy packaging and washed out hippy coffee."
Although the coffee company is based in South Africa, Black Insomnia coffee is now available for purchase in the U.S. You can buy a 16-oz bag for $20, but be warned! The coffee is recommended only for those who have a high caffeine tolerance and no intention of sleeping anytime soon!
We want to hear from you! Would you dare to drink this coffee or not?
