I'm always looking for a new cocktail to show off to my friends. Being an amatuer mixologist I like simple recipes that deliver complex flavors. Luckily this one came with a fun name as well!
The Paper Airplane will have your taste buds guessing what comes next? The amaro and aperol providing the bitter, lemon adding a hint of sour, both will bring out the natural sweetness of the bourbon making a truly balanced flavor!
Ingredients:
- 0.75 oz bourbon
- 0.75 oz amaro
- 0.75 oz aperol
- 0.75 oz lemon juice
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice.
- Shake vigorously and strain into a martini glass.
- Garnish with a small paper plane.
