The images that have been coming out of California, as wildfires are roaming over a large portion of the state, wreaking devastation on everything in their paths, are unbelievable. As an outsider looking in, it is hard to comprehend what it must be like for the people who live in that region.
A video has recently come out online showing the harrowing escape of a couple of people as they were forced to flee oncoming fire, on foot.
The video which is raw (as can be expected as someone films their escape from a fiery death) and shaky depicts the dark reality facing those who have been fleeing from the fires.
Wait until you see what the video shows us.
The video, which was shot in Loma Rica, California, shows a cascade fire trapping the two roommates in the video.
The hardest part of the video for me to watch was when one of the men said, "We're going to f*****g die dude, we gotta get out of here,".
They had to jump out of their vehicle, leaving everything they had behind except their two dogs, and run for their lives. We all wonder how we would react in such a situation, it's hard to tell, but we can see that even in the face of pure danger, these gentlemen kept their heads.
One of the two men described it as "the scariest three minutes of his life."
