Telling someone how you feel about them isn't always easy, but on Valentine's Day every year couples are encouraged to express their love and affection for one another. This sweet little craft will help you tell the one you love all the reasons why they are so special to you each and every day.
This reusable frame can be switched out as often as you want, and even shared. Such a sweet little thing to keep around the house as a convenient and cute way to leave little love notes for each other!
Materials Needed:
- Wood frame
- Scrapbook paper
- Acrylic paint
- Mod Podge
Directions:
Start by popping the glass out of your picture frame and painting the edges of the frame with your paint. You don't have to cover the whole front area because it will get covered anyway. Set it aside to dry.
While that dries, measure out the backing of your frame onto a sheet of scrapbook paper and trim it to fit.
Write the message "I love you because..." on the paper towards the top.
Paint Mod Podge over the backing and secure the paper onto it.
Trace out the shape of your frame onto scrapbook paper and cut it out.
Use Mod Podge as your glue and attach the paper to the front of the frame.
Trim the edges of the paper so it it flush with the wood and paint a layer of Mod Podge over top of the paper to act as a sealant and let it dry.
Once dry, you can add in the glass and your backing.
Use a dry erase marker to write in your messages on the glass and they will wipe right off whenever you feel inspired to change it up!
Leave that special someone new messages everyday so they know just how much they mean to you!
