<div><p>There has always been controversy surrounding Asian countries and the way they choose to treat certain animals. </p><p>The consumption of cats and dogs, which we view as pets, is always the focus of that controversy. </p><p>But now, Taiwan has implemented a law that prohibits the consumption of cats and dogs. Repeat offenders will be subjected to "public shaming" and a fine of up to $138,000 USD. </p><p>The new law also makes it illegal to "walk" your dog by having them run beside your car or scooter, as it led to too many injuries in the dogs. </p><p>Do you think other Asian countries should implement this law?
