Before Meghan Markle became the Duchess of Sussex and an icon to millions of admirers around the world, she was "that lady from Suits" to her American fans.
While Markle was a fan-favorite on the show, and the founder of a lucrative lifestyle website called The Tig, she gave up both those parts of her life as her romance with Prince Harry turned serious.
But now, rumors are swirling that Markle could return to the TV series that made her a household name - if the price is right.
The Daily Mail reported that NBC hoped to lure Markle back onto the popular drama by offering millions of dollars to a charity of her choice - all for a short cameo that could be filmed at her convenience.
The premise of the short scene would supposedly even feature Markle's real life pregnancy, showing her character Rachel Zane "pregnant and happy living with [her character's husband] Mike in the UK."
Figures as high as $6 million have been floated for Markle's return, and while that would be a pretty penny for one of her favorite charities, there's no sign that the duchess has any interest in taking up acting again.
Markle deliberately marked the end of her earlier public persona as she joined the royal family, by closing The Tig and deleting her social media accounts. Markle also turned down a chance to join her castmates at last year's Emmy Awards, which seems to signal that her acting days are over for good.
While it would be highly unusual for a member of the royal family like Markle to make the charity cameo, it's definitely not against the rules.
The Queen herself played a version of herself in the 2012 London Olympics opening ceremonies, as she was escorted to the games by James Bond (Daniel Craig).
Markle's husband, Prince Harry, had his own moment in the spotlight when he made a sly cameo in the movie Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Harry, along with his brother Prince William, donned white helmets and body armor to play a pair of Stormtrooper guards in the sci-fi film.
Sadly, their co-star John Boyega seemed to reveal the princes were cut from the film, maybe because they were taller than the other troopers, who are uniformly 5'11".
"I did personally apologize to them [the Princes] yesterday and said, 'Sorry you were cut out of the film,'" Boyega told This Morning.
"And Will was like, 'I probably just need to work more on the skills.'"
Bear in mind, Boyega later claimed he was just joking about the cameo, and the film's producers refuse to confirm or deny the deleted scene even exists, so for now we'll just have to hope it turns up some day.
The Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson also had a cameo in a 1998 episode of Friends, and Princess Beatrice had a tiny part in the film The Young Victoria.
Who knows if Markle, who is expecting her first child with the prince soon, even has time in her busy schedule to tape a cameo. But Suits fans are definitely excited by the prospect.
