Garlic bread. You hear those two words and your mouth is watering. Then you add Cheesy into the mix and you're basically drooling.
Cheesy garlic bread is a staple at most sit-down restaurants, and makes for a great appetizer, but now the fast-food sandwich chain Subway has realized that we all want more of this cheesy-carb-filled goodness in our lives.
Sure, the new year is sneaking up slowly, so a lot of people may be planning their weight loss resolutions, but honestly, you need to put that on the back burner until you try Subway's new Cheesy garlic bread.
According to a press release, the bread features "garlic butter spread made with real butter and roasted garlic, melted parmesan and shredded mozzarella cheese, that create gooey, bubbling perfection."
It is in stores in America starting December 5th, and they've got the Ultimate Meatball Marinara Sandwich and the Ultimate Spicy Italian all ready to go.
Pairing these two sandwiches with the garlic bread is something that VP of global brand innovation Len Van Popering has gotten a lot of their fans excited. "When people first hear about the New Ultimate Cheesy Garlic Bread, they usually tell us we had them at hello... Pairing two of our most iconic sandwiches with arguably the most delicious cheesy garlic bread ever served delivers a flavor experience unlike anything in the market today."
If neither of the "Ultimate" sandwiches are your favorite, you can also upgrade any of your regular subs to be made with the cheesy garlic bread, but additional charges may apply.
It's only for a limited time though, so we better get moving!
