You can judge the Kardashian-Jenner family all you want, but when it comes to their kids, the reality TV stars always but family first. This week, young mom Kylie Jenner had a scare with her 17-month-old daughter, Stormi, when the toddler spent the day in the hospital.
Fans thought something might be up when Jenner posted a cryptic message on her Instagram story, saying “Blessed beyond words. Thank you God. I believe in being a reflection of what you’d like to receive. If you want love, give love. If you want success, wish success.”
The follow-up revealed that Stormi spent the day in the hospital because of an allergic reaction.
“She had an allergic reaction but is 100% okay now and we are home,” wrote Jenner. “Nothing else matters when these things happen. God bless all the moms with sick babies. I’m sending so much love and positive energy your way.”
Jenner didn't reveal what the reaction was to, or how serious it was, but it's great news that Stormi is home and healed. The beauty business mogul loves being a mom, and despite being the world's youngest self-made billionaire, she says Stormi is her greatest accomplishment.
"The best thing I’ve ever done, my greatest role in this life," Jenner captioned a photo of her and Stormi on Mother's Day.
Many people criticized Jenner for her young pregnancy - she was only 20 years old when she had Stormi - but the mom speaks so highly of motherhood, it's clear she takes the responsibility seriously.
“I always knew I wanted to be a young mother,” Jenner told Interview Germany. "I remember people used to ask, ‘Are you ready for this?’ And I always knew I was ready but you don’t know what that love and that feeling is like until after you have a child, but I feel like I was definitely made for this and she has changed my life for the better.
She noted that having a baby changed her perspective on the world.
"The way that I look at things is a lot more positive and I really feel like my life didn’t start until I had her,” she explained.
No matter what you think of Jenner and her lifestyle, there's no denying that she is a great mom and will do whatever it takes to take care of her daughter.
