Last year, singer Gwen Stefani made fans laugh by revealing the Christmas gift she picked out for her boyfriend, The Voice judge Blake Shelton.
The couple, who have been dating since they met on the reality series in 2015, have a typical "country mouse and city mouse" relationship, as Stefani often trades her dresses for camouflage jackets to go deer hunting with her beau.

But as Stefani told Jimmy Fallon last year, Shelton's cowboy lifestyle made it tough to shop for him at Christmas.
"He's so hard to buy for!" she complained. "He already has the wildebeests [on his ranch], I was gonna get him that. He loved to be on his ranch, that's his favorite thing to do."
"He're really hard to buy for. I think because he doesn't fit in any of my furniture at the house, he's too big."
Which led to a stroke of genius for the pop singer:
"I'm gonna get you a couch," she told Shelton, "like, that's gonna be your Christmas present."
"I'm putting it outside so he can put out fires and stuff like that. I try to make him comfortable in L.A."
But Stefani admitted she wasn't willing to change her style completely for Shelton, and drew the line at messing with her home's decor.
"We're not gonna do La-Z-Boy at my house," she said decisively.
Flash-forward to 2018: Shelton and Stefani are still together (no, she insists they're not engaged yet) and Stefani tells Jimmy Kimmel her boyfriend is still impossible to shop for.
"It's so hard," she said. "He hates everything."
"I feel like we're both sitting there going, 'Promise me you're not going to get me anything. Let's just not get gifts this time.'"
While Shelton agreed, Stefani revealed they both broke their promise, and tried to shop for each other on Black Friday.
"He helped me because he's my best friend. And I'm like, you know, 'Do you like this jacket? I'm gonna get it, no it's too expensive. I'm not going to get it.' But then I got it."
Shelton, who didn't notice Stefani had purchased the jacket after all, had tried to surprise her by buying it.
"He was like, 'I got you that! That was your Christmas present!' So now I have two of them."
Stefani, meanwhile, picked out something useful for the country star - a leaf blower. But the idea was a little too good, as Shelton had just purchased the tool a week before.
While they doubled up on their gifts for each other, that's just proof that this couple are perfectly in sync.
And maybe Shelton is just waiting to surprise Stefani with her real Christmas gift, an engagement ring, since she claims to still be waiting for him to pop the question.
Ellen DeGeneres tried to ambush Stefani into revealing otherwise earlier this week, but the singer wasn't falling for her tricks.
"So Blake told me that y'all are engaged now," the host said casually.
"No he didn't," Stefani said. "No we're not. No we're not. No we're not."
"But when will you get married?" DeGeneres asked.
"I don't know," Stefani insisted.
It's the question plenty of Voice fans are wondering too! Until Stefani herself confirms the good news, we'll have to settle for her romantic new Christmas duet with Shelton, "You Make It Feel Like Christmas."
