Simon Cowell has been rushed to the hospital after he fell backwards on a flight of stairs.

Cowell was seen on the morning of Oct. 27, donning a neck brace while he was loaded into an ambulance on a stretcher, The Sun reports.

"It's been a scary morning. It was very early and Simon was going down his stairs to get some hot milk because he couldn't sleep," a rep for Cowell said. "He fainted and is thought to have fallen down the stairs."

Cowell is in stable condition but remains in the hospital undergoing tests, including a CAT scan.

As a judge on X Factor UK, a source is said to be concerned about Saturday night's live show on ITV, fearing Cowell will be unable to attend.

Lauren Silverman, Cowell's girlfriend and mother to their son, Eric, was seen concerned as she boarded a plane to be by her partner's side. She was in New York visiting her older son, Adam.

This is not the first time Cowell has had health scares and injuries. Earlier this summer, Cowell faced a mysterious illness and was forced to pull out of X Factor's London auditions.

In June, Cowell was plagued by the flu and forced to miss his own charity ball. In 2015, he received a black eye after being headbutted by X Factor contestant, Anton Stephans, who kissed him after discovering he moved onto the next round.
