Hollywood is known for love stories, but usually just on the silver screen.
For every long-lasting couple, like James Brolin and Barbra Streisand, there are tragedies like Kim Kardashian's 72-day marriage.
But we're choosing to be hopeful about Basic Instinct star Sharon Stone's new relationship, because the actress can't stop smiling about her new beau.
Rich, Handsome, And Young
Stone, 60, has made several outings with Italian real estate magnate Angelo Boffa, 41, since they were first spotted together earlier this year.
They have been seen canoodling on a Miami beach, kissing in Italy, spending Valentine's Day together at a five-star hotel in Paris, and taking a romantic carriage ride through Majorca, Spain.
While it's obvious Stone is not afraid of PDA, she's kept very quiet about the blossoming romance so far.
But it seems the romance has lifted Stone's spirit since January, when she told CBS Sunday Morning that "others aren't that interested in a broken person."
Stone has previously been married and divorced twice, first to film producer Michael Greenberg, then to newspaper editor Phil Bronstein.
Between those marriages there were other unlucky pairings for Stone, including a year-long engagement to producer Bill MacDonald that ended when she mailed back her engagement ring by FedEx.
Stone also has three adopted sons, Roan, 18, Laird, 13, and Quinn, 12.
The actress recently told the fashion magazine Grazia that she has high expectations for the men in her life.
"I was just not that girl who was told that a man would define me," she revealed.
"I was told that if I wanted to have a man in my life, it wouldn't be an arrangement, it would be an actual partnership. And those are hard to find."
And while Boffa and Stone have a 19-year age difference, that's not so unusual in Hollywood.
Catherine Zeta-Jones is 25 years younger than her husband, Michael Douglas, while singer Don McLean made headlines for dating a woman 48 years his junior.
Rebuilding Her Life
Her new relationship is just part of Stone's effort to take back her life after a devastating stroke almost killed her.
While she was 43 at the time, the actress only revealed how serious her condition had been in recent years.
In a 2015 interview with Harper's Bazaar, Stone described waking up in the hospital with "the doctor was leaning over me."
"I said, 'Am I dying?' And he said, 'You're bleeding into your brain.' I said, 'I should call my mom,' and he said, 'You're right. You could lose the ability to speak soon.'"
Stone later revealed she lost all control of the left side of her body, and had to go through grueling rehabilitation to repair the damage.
"When I came home after the stroke, I could barely walk," she told Radio Times. "My hip was unstable. I couldn't see out of my left eye and I couldn't hear out of my left ear."
"I couldn't write my name for almost three years. I couldn't get my arm to listen to my mind, so I had to learn to read and write again. I had to learn to speak again. It took years for the feeling to come back to my left leg, but it finally came back."
Thankfully, Stone is in good health today, and seems to be in a good place emotionally as well.
