Sharon Osbourne has revealed she wanted Ozzy to suffer for his cheating ways.
The scandal broke out in early 2016 when the rocker's four-year affair was exposed with hairstylist Michelle Pugh, along with five other mistresses. They were separated for a brief period of time before they decided to reconcile and renew their vows.
Sharon has been Ozzy's longtime business manager, taking over the role from her father when the musician was fired from Black Sabbath. The couple have three children together, Aimee, 34, Kelly, 33, and Jack, 32, while Ozzy has another three from his previous marriage to Thelma Riley.
For the past four decades, the Osbournes have been major attractions in the tabloid spotlight, with millions of people wondering what went on behind the scenes of the wild rock and roll family. They even starred in a reality show from 2002 to 2005, giving viewers a firsthand glance at all the family's hijinks as if they were a fly on the wall.
With the pair's affection towards each other apparent during every public appearance, their romance would be torn to pieces when Sharon (and the rest of the world) discovered Ozzy had strayed.
Now, Sharon has revealed how she really felt when she learned of her beloved husband's infidelity.
Following the revelation of her husband's infidelity, The Talk co-host made no qualms about discussing her shattered personal life on TV.
"We were sitting on the couch watching the telly," she told The Telegraph. "Ozzy on one couch and me on the other, and suddenly, he sends me this email. 'Why did you send me this stupid email?' I asked, and when Ozzy told me that he hadn't sent me anything, I grabbed his phone and said, 'Look!' And of course it was a message meant for one of his bloody women."
Following her discovery, Sharon admitted that while she wanted Ozzy to suffer, she also wanted to keep her family together.
Sharon admitted she was determined to keep parenting her children and try to keep them together as a family.
"Of course you want them to be horribly miserable - naturally, it comes with the territory," Sharon told the Daily Mirror. "After a while, they can get better but they need to know the impact of their behavior. I think it says a lot that he was brutally honest and I feel like he's hurt somebody but he's grown as a person."
"Because you're miserable, you're hurt, and you still have to [co-parent], therefore the pain that you feel, you want somebody to feel that pain," she added.
Ozzy admitted even just enjoying a small glass of wine would lead him down a dark path to hell.
While some might assume it was Ozzy's high libido that led to sexual promiscuity, he said his excessive drinking was the key factor to all of his poor decisions.
"I know what's going to happen if I start that again - I'm going to wake up covered in p*** and puke, on my own somewhere. I can sit here and go, "˜A glass of wine would be good,' and the next thing you know, I'm waking up somewhere I didn't intend to be, in a bad state. "˜Cause I can't stop. [It's like] a switch "” from fun to necessity," Ozzy said.
Now the musician said he has given up smoking, drugs, and alcohol, which has significantly bettered his life.
"I do not want it now, I don't know how we did it. For a while it was fun, but when you cross that invisible line... one day, I wake up in a f*cking jail in England. I'm going, "˜Where the f**k am I?" Ozzy concluded.
