They happen. Today was and is a moment. What does remission mean? I heard that word and have no idea how to react," she captioned a photo of her sitting on the ground, face buried in the crook of her arm, presumably overwhelmed with the news. "Good news? YES. Overwhelming. YES. Now more waiting," wrote Doherty in an Instagram post. </p><div><amp-instagram height="1" width="1" layout="responsive" data-captioned="" data-shortcode="BTcmUkahi0J"></amp-instagram></div><p>It comes as no surprise that the<em> Beverly Hills 90210</em> actress would share this update on Instagram. She has been very open about this journey and has been regularly sharing updates about the state of her health, from shaving her head to getting the "red devil" injection, with fans through <a href="https://www.instagram.com/theshando/">social media</a>. </p><p><!-- [invalid-shortcode] --></p><p>In this latest post, Doherty shares that despite being in remission she still has some difficult decisions ahead.</p><p>"In the meantime, decisions. Reconstruction which is several surgeries. Decision on taking a pill for the next five years that comes with its own set of problems and side effects. I am blessed, I know that. But for now.... remission. I'm going to just breathe. <a href="https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/cancerslayer/">#cancerslayer</a>" </p><p>We're so relieved that Doherty is winning this battle.
