<div><p>After a fifteen-year hiatus, which honestly felt like eternity, country superstar Shania Twain is set to make a comeback!</p><p>The Canadian-born artist made the announcement on the singing competition The Voice, during her stint as mentor. </p><p>Despite racking up awards, Shania had to stop performing after her being diagnosed with dysphonia, a condition which affects the vocal chords and hinders the ability to speak and sing. I'm not in the mood to write a 'feeling-sorry-for-myself' song," Shania told <a href="http://www.rollingstone.com/country/news/shania-twain-readies-new-song-lifes-about-to-get-good-w479113">Rolling Stone</a>.</p><div><amp-twitter height="472" width="375" layout="responsive" data-tweetid="857632539128758275"></amp-twitter></div><p>The songs are inspired by the hurdles she's had to go through over the last few years including her breakup with husband Robert "Mutt" Lange in 2008. </p><p><!-- [invalid-shortcode] --></p><p>"Writing is my therapy and writing this new album helped me come to terms with a lot of things emotionally," tweeted the Grammy-winner. </p><p>Man!
