Roseanne Barr's media presence over the last year has been highly controversial. Since the infamous tweet that got her fired from her own sitcom, the comedian has continued speaking out to try and clear her name.
While she has recently taken a step back from the public eye, those around her continue spreading gossip.
Just the other day, a man who claimed to be Barr's assistant called into a radio show claiming that the actress had been taken to the hospital after having a heart attack.
Fans began flooding her Twitter feed with well wishes and messages of support, but it was a full day before we received any word on the star's health.
It was actually Barr herself who sent out a message, revealing that this so-called heart attack was actually a prank and no such medical emergency had taken place.

At first she just posted a picture of herself and all she wrote was a simple "I'm fine."
She then revealed that she was "the victim of a prank," before explaining where she was. "I've had no medical issues. I'm spending time at home with my family and relaxing."

Her fans were supportive of her and sorry to hear that someone had said something so ridiculous about her, especially because it was a holiday, but they were mostly just happy to hear she was actually okay.
So sad that evil people just can't leave you alone, especially on Thanksgiving weekend! We wish you well always Roseanne!

No matter what you think of Barr's politics, it's never okay to wish someone harm.
