2018 is set to be a big year for the royal family.
With the upcoming nuptials of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, to the arrival of Prince William and Kate Middleton's third child, Queen Elizabeth II seems to have her hands full.
However, the royal family is expected to get even bigger as another one of her grandchildren is expecting another bundle of joy.
Zara Tindall - the daughter of Princess Anne - announced on Jan. 5 that she and her husband, Mike, are expecting a child sometime this summer. This will be the second child for the Olympic medalist and the former rugby star, as they are already parents to their three-year-old daughter, Mia Grace. This will be the Queen's seventh grandchild, and 19th in line for the throne.
A Buckingham Palace spokesman said: "The Queen and members of the royal family were very pleased to hear this news."
The joyous announcement comes a little more than a year after the couple faced a devastating loss.
In November 2016, Zara and Mike announced they were expecting a child, only to share the heartbreaking news they suffered a miscarriage on Christmas Eve.
A spokeswoman for the couple released a statement in December, which said: "Very sadly, Zara and Mike Tindall have lost their baby. At this difficult time, we ask that everyone respects their privacy."
This past May, Mike told the Sunday Times how his daughter has helped the pair cope with their loss.
"One thing you do learn is how many other people have to go through the same thing," Mark said. "The saving grace for us has been Mia, our daughter, who is now three. However down we feel she will come running up in our faces. When I was playing [rugby] I hardly saw her; now we can see her grow up. I can take her swimming and I can take her to Ninja Tots. You'll never be able to see her there because she disappears in a puff of smoke."
The pair wed on July 30, 2011 at the Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh, Scotland, and had their wedding reception held at the luxurious Holyrood House for their wedding reception.
Zara kept her maiden name "Phillips" until March 2016.
