If you're a member of the British monarchy, you're guaranteed to be swarmed by the public and media.
However, based on their place in the line of succession, some royals get more press than others.
While it's obvious Prince William's cousins don't get nearly the same amount of attention that he and Prince Harry do, it turns out there was even a disparity of the treatment between the two brothers as well.
And of course, their mother Princess Diana took notice.
"Diana poured more love and attention into Harry."
According to royal expert Richard Kay, the Princess of Wales admitted that while she and Prince Charles wanted to give their sons the same amount of care, she ultimately "poured more love and attention into Harry."
"As compensation, Diana poured more love and attention into Harry," he wrote on Daily Mail, adding she allegedly told him, "I have to. Charles and I worked so hard to ensure both boys receive equal amounts of our time and love, but others in the family seem to concentrate on William."
Although Kay didn't reveal who the "others" were, he did note the royal confronted Queen Elizabeth II on her favoritism between her great-grandsons.
"Harry had complained that whenever he and William visited their great-grandmother at Clarence House, it was always William she made a fuss over and who sat next to her. 'It's not fair,' Harry told his mother," Kay said.
Both William and Harry adored their late mother, and have often spoke of Diana's unconditional love for them since her passing in 1997.
"She never once allowed her unfaltering love for us to go unspoken or undemonstrative," the Duke of Sussex said on the 10th anniversary of her death.
"She will always be remembered for her amazing public work, but behind the media glare, to us, just two loving children, she was quite simply the best mother in the world."
"If your baby is a girl, be brave and call her Diana which would make your Mother so proud."
With the recent news that Harry and Meghan Markle will be welcoming their first child together in Spring 2019, it's clear that it will be a bittersweet moment for him, as Diana won't be around to meet her newest grandchild.
It's suggested that the newlyweds may even name their child Diana if it's a girl, and Spencer (Diana's maiden name) if it's a boy.
Diana's former butler Paul Burrell has even put his two cents in, and is urging the couple to honor her too.
Dear Meghan and Harry, Many Congratulations to you both on your wonderful news. Australia has taken you to their hearts and have seen at first hand the inspirational people you are. If your baby is a girl, be brave and call her Diana which would make your Mother so proud. â¤ï¸

The Duke of Cambridge has previously spoken about the heartbreak of his mother never getting to meet his beloved wife Kate Middleton and children Prince George, five, Princess Charlotte, three, and Prince Louis, five months.
"I would like to have had her advice," he said. "I would love her to have met Catherine and to have seen the children grow up. It makes me sad that she won't, that they will never know her."
