The royal family has been expanding a lot over the last year, and because of that we've all been watching them closer than ever. With the big royal wedding and the new baby, all the royal watchers have been on high alert.
Today is another exciting day for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, as their youngest son Prince Louis will be christened at St James' Palace.
They've just announced who will taking over the important role of godparents. But while most people have a godmother and a godfather, children in the royal family tend to have many.
Prince George, Will and Kate's first son, has seven godparents, and Princess Charlotte has five.
Prince Louis will fall right in between the two, with six godparents of his own.
Nicholas van Cutsem
He is a long-time friend of both William and Harry. Their whole family is friends, in fact, Nicholas van Cutsem's brother William is godfather to Prince George.
Guy Pelly
He's a London nightclub owner and one of William and Harry's closest friends, and now he will get to be a bigger part of Louis' life.
Harry Aubrey-Fletcher
He has been close with William for years, and was actually an usher at his wedding to Kate in 2011.
Lady Laura Meade
Meade is a close friend of the couple, and actually lives very close to the Norfolk home. Her husband, James, is actually the godfather of Charlotte.
Hannah Gillingham
Gillingham has been friends with Kate since they were young and attending Malborough College.
Lucy Middleton
And as you can tell by the name, Lucy Middleton is a relative of Kate. She's her cousin but otherwise not much else is known about her.
The Ceremony
The ceremony will not be a huge affair like so many of the other royal events are. It's supposed to be a small ceremony, with mostly family and close friends.
Expected guests include newlyweds Harry and Meagan Markle, Kate's parents Michael and Carole Middleton, Kate's sister Pippa Middleton and her husband James Matthews, and of course Prince Charles and Camilla.
One noticeable absence from the event is the baby's great grandmother Queen Elizabeth. Both the Duke of Edinburgh and the monarch are going to be missing the ceremony, but Buckingham Palace has stated that it is not because of a health crisis or anything bad. Apparently it was planned some time ago that the queen would not be attending.
The ceremony will take play at 4 p.m. this afternoon.
Kate and Will have received a lot of attention for their parenting style , especially when it comes to the rules for their kids.
The christening is one of those traditions that the royal family holds dear to their heart.
