This is the type of thing out of a paranormal horror flick that will make you have trouble sleeping soundly at night.
While this doll may look like it belongs in a child's bedroom with a smiling face and beautiful dress, there is something more than meets the eye.
A doll sold on eBay for $1,100 has been attacking its new owner while he is sleeping.
This is not a joke, either.
It's not the first time the doll that has been accused of causing harm to it's owner.
The doll hit headlines a few weeks ago because of its violent outbursts. Former owner, Debbie Merrick, said the doll begun attacking her husband by scratching him while he was sleeping. It has also been accused of removing jewelry and setting off fire alarms. That's when Debbie decided to sell the "possessed" doll on eBay- and for some reason, someone actually bought it.
"I was so glad when the doll went, to be honest," Debbie said.
Flickering lights as also a common occurrence near the doll.
"We had that in the hotel the night before we went on This Morning above our table while we were eating downstairs, and then in our room later as it was weird - they were flickering like crazy, only in the bit of the room the doll was in," Debbie said.
Research has suggested that the doll was originally from the United States and was given to newly married couples between 1890 and 1920.
This doll was believed to have come from a home in Arizona where there were 1,000 other dolls and the woman living there was believed to have been shot by her husband.

After a bidding war broke out between multiple interested ghost fans, Lee Steer, a paranormal investigator from Rotherham in the UK ended up paying $1,100 for the doll.
Why they would ever sleep in the same building is beyond me, but sure enough Lee's dad, Paul, has been subjected to the same treatment as the previous owners of the doll.
Paul says that he has woken up with scratches all over his arms.
Lee who is 30 years-old and lives at home with his parents recalls the strange activities.
"My dad was downstairs in the morning, at this point the doll was still packed away, and he heard like a tapping noise on wood. He said it was a bit unusual. Later that day he was watching the repeat of one of our live streams with the doll. I was doing a live stream upstairs in my room," Paul said.
"Then he said to my mum, "˜My arm's hurting'. He lifted up his sleeve and he had six scratches on his arm. My mum shouted to me, "˜Lee, you best get downstairs "“ your dad's getting affected. He's got scratches on him'. It seems pretty similar to the scratches on Debbie's husband from what I can tell. We have no idea where they came from," Paul concluded.
It's not just the attacks they have noticed that has put the family on edge. A number of strange things have been happening at the house including things getting broken, weird noises and flickering lights.
"We were putting stuff away that weekend before it arrived and started talking about it, and all of a sudden a picture I have in my wall called The Crying Boy started swinging on its own" said Lee. "We've gone months without anything unusual happening and as soon as this doll is mentioned things start happening."
Even on a Live Stream, people can see strange things happening with the doll.
"We did a live stream opening of the doll that 35,000 people watched, and a light I use was flickering, it was like a strobe. It was the first time that had ever happened. And people contacted me saying they could see the doll's eyes moving."
Lee believes that the connection between the attacks is the doll's hatred of married men, which explains why it attacked his dad and the former owner's husband.
"My dad's a believer. He's said he's not happy with it being in the house," Lee said.
I would think not!
