Policeman Pulls Woman Over And Tells Her To Pop Her Trunk, Doesn't See She's Documenting His Every move

Policing involves quite a significant amount of anxiety, having to address traffic offenders, petty thieves, and lots more.

All these are certainly not as easily done as people presume or as some movies portray them, it takes a much more than usual level of calmness and diligence to be able to go above and beyond after conducting one's basic duties as a police officer.

A large chunk of the general public are quick to vilify the law enforcers, well there is proof all around the internet of the gross misconduct of several of these officers, ranging from articles to clips, to pictures and the likes-- validating their claims.

This is not to say that their good deeds should go unheard of, in fact, they ought to be talked about as much (if not more) as their 'not so good' actions.

This is why, I imagine, more police officers are making it a point of responsibility to go over and above the day-to-day duty of police officers and help correct the ill status of the force. One of such good deeds that must not be swept underneath the carpet is how a police officer went from law enforcing to car repairing in a matter of moments.

Chy-Niece was driving to an interview when she was pulled over by a deputy. The thought of other people who have been manhandled by policemen most likely crossed her mind but the job interview which was at stake would have been of primary concern to her. The officer who pulled Chy-Niece over got out of his patrol car and approached hers.

After a pleasant greeting, he told Chy-Niece that both of her vehicle's brake lights were out of place. That definitely would have come to her as a rude shock since she just recently got them adjusted at an abnormally high amount, worse still; the infraction attracted a large fine.

Officer Jenkins response melted Chy-Niece's heart, relaying the incident, she said;

" So this happened just now. I'm on my way to go to my interview this morning when I get pulled [over] Both brake lights decided to go out this time."

As he walked to the car and I was pulling out my stuff, he quickly said, "Don't pull anything out. I just want you to know that your brake lights are out."

She explained to the Officer that she just got the lights taken care of about a month ago at an exorbitant price (at Firestone).

Firestone charged her $600 to fix the tail lights.

As he walked to the car and I was pulling out my stuff, he quickly said, "Don't worry about pulling anything out. I just want you to know that your brake lights are out." So I'm immediately upset, because I just got them replaced like last month. So I explained to him how Firestone wants to charge me $600 just to run a test on the wiring of the car. He looked at me like 😨 and told me to pop the trunk. He checked the lights in the trunk and tapped them, but they didn't come on. So he told me to pop the hood to check the relay box then asked me to get out to check the other one. He could've easily given me a ticket, but Officer Jenkins stepped out of officer role and into mechanic role to make sure I was straight. #HesABlessing

To Officer Jenkins it was welfare first, anytime, any day.

She very likely got to the interview too late or maybe missed it outright but it was definitely worth it because she may have met an officer who might have given her a ticket.

Officer Jenkins rescued the day!
