Pioneer Woman Finally Addresses Rumors About Leaving Food Network

Over the years, Food Network has given many food lovers and chefs a chance to share their passion and craft with the world.

In Ree Drummond's case, the success of a blog she started to connect with her family is what landed her a show with the network and helped her become one of its most popular stars.

Drummond, best known as the Pioneer Woman, has been with the Food Network since 2011, but after seven years of hosting a highly-rated show, many have been speculating about her departure from the network.

Fans became concerned that the Pioneer Woman may not return to her television gig after her successful expansion into other business ventures.

In addition to authoring several best-selling cookbooks, a memoir titled Black Heels to Tractor Wheels, and a children's book, Drummond also has her own magazine as well as a home and kitchen line at Walmart.

She recently opened up a hotel, The Pioneer Woman Boarding House, and owns two restaurants, The Pioneer Woman Mercantile and P-Town Pizza.

It takes a lot of time, effort and strategizing to successfully operate so many businesses, which is why some longtime followers of Drummond have been unsure about her return to the small screen.

Some even claimed that she is leaving the Food Network to sell her own line of facial creams. While we have no doubts that Drummond would be very successful if she had a skincare line, that's not something she is planning to do anytime soon.

Drummond recently took to her famous blog to address the rumors and reassure everyone that she will be back on TV.

She wrote:

There is a wacky rumor circulating around Facebook that I have decided to quit my Food Network show and devote my life to selling facial cream. The source of the rumor is an unscrupulous company trying to trick people into buying (you guessed it) facial cream. I have nothing to do with this facial cream (please don't buy it!), and more importantly: I am not quitting my Food Network show! On the contrary: I'm just getting warmed up, man! The past seven years have just been one gigantic dress rehearsal!

You want recipes, cookbooks, pretty plates, pans, and Basset Hound cookie jars? Head my way!

You want facial cream? Head to Walmart, Ulta, Sephora, or a department store. Don't head to Pioneer Woman. I get my facial cream at Walmart, Ulta, Sephora, and department stores! (Which is to say I rotate a lot. I think it's healthier for the skin. Hey, maybe I should sell facial cream! Just kidding.)

Drummond then revealed that "it's going to be a great fall" on her show as there will be "a brand spanking new episode every Saturday monring at 10 am Eastern/9 am Central."

"I'm having so much fun with the new shows these days, and hope you're loving the recipes!" she added.

So there you have it folks! The Pioneer Woman is here to stay and has even more exciting stuff on the way. On top of filming, she's been planning her next cookbook and already has "a sense of a direction or two" she wants to take.

We can't wait to see Drummond back on TV soon! Will you be tuning in?
