It was long overdue, but Pink finally coughed up the gas money and joined The Late, Late Show host, James Corden on his drive-by singing show.
The legendary singer recently released her seventh album titled, Beautiful Trauma, which delves into the nitty-gritty details surrounding her marriage to her husband, Carey Hart. The motocross driver and our favorite punk-rock diva have shared an 11-year marriage, and have two children together.
But it is not always easy. The couple famously separated in 2008 and spent a year apart before reconciling their relationship.
"There are moments where I look at [Hart] and he is the most thoughtful, logical, constant ... he's like a rock. He's a good man," Pink said, "And then I'll look at him and go: "˜I've never liked you. There's nothing I like about you. We have nothing in common."
She believes that perseverance to the one you love is worth it in the end. "Monogamy is work! But you do the work and it's good again."
However, it was only fun and good vibes in the car ride with Corden, where the two rocked out to her favorite songs and dished on her weird quirks and history of obsession with...Jon Bon Jovi?
From the moment Pink (born Alecia Moore) stepped into the passenger seat, the two of them began joking and singing along to one of her more recent hits, "What About Us".
After a brief dance off they hit the road, and the A-list celebrity singer reminisces about her childhood crush on rock star Bon Jovi. She had the chance to meet her idol in her twenties, and let him know how much he meant to her.
He even sent her a bouquet of flowers with a pair of leather trousers in them so she "could finally get in his pants," which Pink thought was hilarious - until her husband threw them out the window!
After chatting more about her successful marriage and family life, the pair took a turn off the road and Pink revealed one of her industry secrets to her host. She sings better upside down!
Of course, James was doubtful. But they gave it a go and it actually sounded pretty great! Give it a listen here!
