It's not the most exciting viral photo we've shared, but a UPS driver's picture of leaves beside a road is definitely one of the most important.
What's underneath the leaves is crucial, as the driver says he almost hit a young boy who was playing in the pile.
Jordan Weaver was delivering packages in Elkhart, Indiana last week when he noticed a boy's hat peeking out of the leaf pile just beside the road.
"I couldn't believe it at first -- my heart completely stopped," he told WSBT.
"Luckily, I parked across the street from the stop, so I didn't see the child until after I made the delivery. I immediately grabbed my phone and went and asked the mother if I could take a picture."
Weaver shared his photo with coworkers on Facebook, and it quickly became a hot topic among other delivery drivers.
It perfectly illustrates for the rest of us what these drivers already know: hazards can often hide in plain sight, and it's never safe for children to play near the road.
Just weeks ago, a delivery driver spotted a baby underneath his truck just in time:
This baby was crawling outside under my truck after my Truck was parked to make a delivery luckily i seen her. Before i backed out. No supervision in site

And although Weaver's photo is a warning to parents, he also has good advice for any driver at any time of year.
"You really have to keep your eyes open," he said. "No matter what street you're on, no matter where you're at, just have to keep your eyes open. You have to pay attention to everything around you constantly."
