Off-Duty Firefighter Sees Trash In A Stream, But When It Moved, He Ran Toward It

<div><p>Off-duty firefighter, Dan Estrada was hiking in the woods with a friend near Boulder Creek, California when he spotted something laying in the stream. </p><p>His vision wasn't very sharp, so at first he thought it was a pile of trash. They enlisted the help of their community and neighbors, but as days turned into nights, they began to fear the worst. </p><p><!-- [invalid-shortcode] --></p><p>Beth Cole told the Santa Cruz Sentinal that the 12-year-old pup had lost her eyesight to glaucoma. "Everyone was crying."</p><p>The entire community was touched by Sage's happy return.
