Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ cup green pepper, finely diced
  • ½ cup red pepper, finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 ½ cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 tube pizza dough
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large pan, cook the ground beef and peppers over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally and cooking until meat has cooked through. Drain any excess grease, then place back on the heat, adding in the garlic and cooking another 1-2 minutes.
  3. Pour in the tomato sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic powder, and onion powder, stirring until well-combined, then simmering for about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. Roll out the pizza dough and cut into 10 small rectangles. Flatten the dough slightly, then sprinkle about a tablespoon of cheese onto each rectangle, then spoon about a tablespoon of the meat filling on top. Roll the pizza dough closed, making sure to pinch the seams closed. Repeat until all the dough has been filled and rolled.
  5. In a small bowl, stir together the garlic powder and parsley with the melted butter, then brush along the tops of the dough.
  6. Bake 10-12 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown. Serve and enjoy!
