It took five days, but Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra's lavish nuptials have finally come to an end, and they've been giving fans a glimpse into how it all played out.
The couple, who got engaged earlier this year, tied the knot in two fairytale-like ceremonies at the Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, India.
Jonas, who rose to fame as a member of the Jonas Brothers, and his family flew half way around the world for the epic weekend, which also featured a number of other traditional pre-wedding festivities.
"[Jonas] understands how important it is to [Chopra] to stay true to her background, and wants her to have the best wedding day," a source close to the couple told Entertainment Tonight.
The couple kicked off the celebrations at Chopra's mother's home on November 30 with a Hindu ritual prayer called puja.
This was then followed by the Mehendi ceremony, during which the women in the bride and groom's families as well as their close friends get together while the bride gets henna designs applied to her hands and feet.
Being that this is a cross-cultural affair, Nick and other male members of their families were present during this portion of the day.
Next, the couple and their families all got together for a "fierce song [and] dance competition." This elaborate musical evening is known as the Sangeet, and it gives the bride and groom's families a chance to bond and tell their "stories through song and dance, filled with lots of laughter and love."
Jonas' brothers Kevin and Joe Jonas as well as Joe's fiancee and Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner all took to the stage to deliver their choreographed routines.
"It's an amazing start to a lifetime of togetherness for our families and friends," Chopra wrote in the clip showing snippets of the entertainment-filled night.
In the days that followed, the Quantico actress and her fiance finally said "I do," in a Christian service as well as a traditional Hindu ceremony.
For the western ceremony, which was officiated by Jonas' father, the couple exchanged their vows in front of 225 of their friends and family members.
Chopra wore a breathtaking hand-beaded and embroidered Ralph Lauren gown that reportedly took 1,826 hours to create. She accessorized with a 75-foot-long veil and bouquet of white flowers.
Jonas wore a black double-breasted tuxedo with a piece of Chopra's dress in the lapel inscribed with the words "my jaan," which is Hindi for "my life."
The bride's father died of cancer in 2013, so her mother walked her down the aisle as a visibly emotional Jonas wipes away tears.
As expected, the evening portion featured a sit-down dinner, a live band, speeches, and toasts by family members.
The couple then cut into their seven-tired wedding cake with a knife that looks more like a sword, before taking to the dance floor for their first dance to Roberta Flack's "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face."
Chopra later shared photos from the special day on social media along with the caption "forever starts now."
On the final day, Jonas and Chopra had a Hindu ceremony, which saw the both of them in gorgeous, traditional Indian garb.
Chopra wore a red two-piece called a lenhenga. According to the designer, the hand-embroidered dress took 3,720 hours to create and involved 110 embroiders. It featured hand-cut organza flowers, French knots and red crystals.
The ceremony was followed by one last reception, this time at the Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi. They celebrated with 1,000 people, including several Bollywood stars and the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi.
"I love that our wedding was a religious mash-up," the newlywed actress told People in an exclusive interview. "We took beautiful traditions that we both grew up with and personalized them in a way that made sense for us. It's been incredible to find the commonalities between our beliefs and figuring out how to blend them in a respectful and meaningful way."
