There are plenty of things to be upset about these days, but toast is definitely not one of them.

When Miami-based food stylist and photographer, Adeline Waugh posted her first snapshot of Unicorn toast, she raised a few eyebrows. But then she posted a shot of Mermaid toast and the internet foodies lost their collective mind.

On her Instagram feed, vibrantandpure, Waugh posted images of unicorn toast with sprinkles and "other magical unicorn treats."

<amp-instagram height="1" width="1" layout="responsive" data-captioned="" data-shortcode="BRBf84Yj10R"></amp-instagram>

The reception was generally positive - people loved the rainbow colored cream cheese and the magical candy sprinkles. This toast wasn't just for little kids, but for adults who still have an imagination!

But after she posted her newest creation: Mermaid toast, the criticisms just came flooding in. Thankfully, Waugh didn't let the Debbie-downers rain on her parade.

She writes:

"...there are also so many people and articles hating on it; saying it's "silly" and asking, "why?" Or "who has time for that?!" Let me just put this out there: I am just having fun! I am a food stylist and I like to create beautiful things using food."

<amp-instagram height="1" width="1" layout="responsive" data-captioned="" data-shortcode="BRaxU06DWgG"></amp-instagram>

<amp-instagram height="1" width="1" layout="responsive" data-captioned="" data-shortcode="BRWBSxmDDfH"></amp-instagram>

Waugh tells Food & Wine that the sea inspired toasts are mixed up with a variety of blue green algae powders and liquids mixed with almond milk cream cheese.

As for the haters?
