Cat owners have a reputation as being very solitary, like the animals they love, but thousands of them are set to mix and mingle in the Big Apple, which is hosting "Cat Camp" later this month.

Cat Camp is being advertised as "the city's first feline-focused conference and adoption extravaganza," and organizers say people are planning to travel from across the country to be there.

The two-day show will feature panel discussions, shopping, information booths and adoption events (including ones for senior cats and cats with special needs). Just like ComiCon, there are even celebrity guests lined up.

<amp-img src="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/03/Guests.jpg" srcset="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/03/Guests_GH_content_550px.jpg 550w, https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/03/Guests_GH_content_650px.jpg 650w, https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/03/Guests_GH_content_750px.jpg 750w, https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/03/Guests_GH_content_850px.jpg 850w, https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/03/Guests_GH_content_950px.jpg 950w, https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/03/Guests_GH_content_1050px.jpg 1050w, https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/03/Guests_GH_content_1150px.jpg 1150w, https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/03/Guests_GH_content_1250px.jpg 1250w" sizes="89vw" title="" alt="" height="9" width="16" layout="responsive"></amp-img>

"Cat behavior consultant" Jason Galaxy and internet sensation Lil Bub are some of the big names headlining Cat Camp, and attendees will have to pay extra to meet them.
