Norma Jean Baker, best known as Marilyn Monroe, died over five decades ago but you'd think she's still alive based on her popularity among this generation. The actress and model was one of the world's biggest sex symbols and even in death she continues to be viewed as an icon.

There are over 100 images available at Julien's Auctions and are expected to sell for about $90,000.
The collection features a series of extremely rare photographs from the early days of Marilyn's career up to the weeks leading up to her untimely death in 1962 due to drug overdose.
