Netflix is known for releasing some pretty intense content on their streaming platform. Real-life crime documentaries, thriller-style TV shows, and movies like Bird Box are all made to make users feel uncomfortable and a little bit scared. Most people tune in to Netflix to watch the true-crime stuff, finding it fascinating and nerve-wracking at the same time.
Their new four-part documentary, Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes gives viewers an in-depth look at Bundy's mind, using real-life interviews from Bundy himself. The show features Bundy talking about how he's just a "normal individual" and also includes news footage from the trials. It's crazy to see how people were so enthralled by this man, some even saying he was too good-looking to kill people.
That last bit, about him being too good looking, is what is now worrying Netflix, if only just in a joking way, after so many people have pointed out that Ted Bundy was a pretty handsome guy. This is what some people had to say:

The "hot" talk became so rampant, the official Netflix account had to come out and tell people the extremely obvious: Ted Bundy was a serial killer. Raise your standards.
"I've seen a lot of talk about Ted Bundy's alleged hotness and would like to gently remind everyone that there are literally thousands of hot men on the service "” almost all of whom are not convicted serial murderers," the company wrote on its Twitter account Monday.
It's all pretty tongue-in-cheek, but it is a little bit concerning that there are people glorifying how hot a literal serial killer was. For Bundy survivor Kathy Kleiner Rubin, though, she thinks this dialogue is important in helping to learn how the serial killer operated. She spoke with TMZ about the new Zac Efron movie, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, in which the handsome actor plays the infamous killer.
"I don't have a problem with people looking at it, and as long as they understand that what they're watching wasn't a normal person," she told TMZ. "I believe that in order to show him exactly the way he was, it's not really glorifying him, but it's showing him, and when they do say positive and wonderful things about him... that's what they saw, that's what Bundy wanted you to see."
"Like I said I think everyone should see it and understand him as what he was even when he was the perfect so," she continued. "I think hopefully it will make women [...] be more aware of their surroundings and be cautious. He had different tactics that he used for people to help him get in cars or do things, and in your gut, if you just feel that something doesn't feel right, just say no."
While watching Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes might seem like entertainment to us, we need to remember that this man killed at least 30 women. He is not someone to be glorified, and in my personal opinion, he definitely was not hot.
