Picture this: You've just started watching the next episode of a Netflix show, and it plays the opening credits and intro. This isn't a bad thing, except that you've already seen the credits on the last five episodes you watched. You'd rather not.
Well, Netflix has made an announcement that will be good news for you! Right now, they're testing a new button that will allow you to skip the opening credits and start watching an episode right away.
The "Skip Intro" button can be found on selected web-version shows including House of Cards, Iron Fist, Mad Men, The Office, Friends, and Parks & Recreation. All you have to do is hover over the time-elapsed bar, click the button, and you'll skip the entire intro without having to waste precious minutes of watching time.

Although Netflix hasn't implemented the button permanently as of yet, it looks hopeful so far. A spokeswoman for the company told the Verge: "We perform hundreds of tests every year to help make the Netflix member experience better."
For me, it would make binge-watching an entire season of This is Us a whole lot easier. Way to go Netflix!
We want to hear from you! Is the new button something you would use or not?
