Nicole Lynn Walter was arrested Monday in Escambia County, Florida.
She was a unfortunately, both a nanny and a licensed foster parent. Walter is currently being held at Escambria County Jail.
Escambia County Sheriff’s Office have charged her with possessing child pornography, lewd and lascivious behavior with a victim under 16, aggravated assault and resisting arrest, according to arrest records.
"When we first got the reports on Ms. Walter and started the investigation, upon the search warrant that was executed at her home, that's where we found child pornography, and in that child pornography, are depictions of children that possibly are in that home or somewhere in Escambia County. And so therefore we're asking for your assistance," said Sheriff David Morgan during a Facebook live video announcing Walter's arrest. "Again if your child ever had contact with this lady, that you get a hold of our investigator. And again, for the sake of your child, let's make sure that we eliminate them as a possibility for molestation by this individual."
Walter has also used the names Nicole Steff and Nicole Stearns, according to investigators.
The following details are quite disturbing and readers should be warned before proceeding.
According to arrest warrants, Walter is a self-employed pornography actress. Her videos included movies filmed of herself masterbating publicly in front of and while engaging with children. According to the Pensacola News Journal, who have seen the arrest report, children can be heard talking in the background of the videos uploaded to various pornographic websites.
A three-year-old girl told investigators that Walter touched her privates and took photographs. Two other children also told investigators they had seen Walter touch herself in front of a camera, the arrest report said.
During the search, a Florida Department of Law Enforcement K-9 located a micro SD card that also contained child abuse imagery and included a 10-13 year-old girl.
Sheriff David Morgan also warns parents that during this time children have more time to be online using apps and the internet. Limit the time they are online and monitor what is going on.
But that "She is now in custody. The community is safe from at least this one predator."
Walter is being held on $72,500 bond at the Escambia County Jail. She has not yet entered a plea, and online court records do not list an attorney authorized to speak on her behalf. Her next court appearance is May 14.
Authorities are asking people with information about Walter to contact ECSO Investigator Jeremy Horn at 478-436-9586 or by email at jahorn@escambiaso.com.
In the first 24 hours after the announcement of her arrest was made, the Escambia County Sheriff's Office has received more than 20 phone calls from parents whose children had prior contact with the woman.
